The Beatty Jail is a small holding facility in Nevada that only has eleven beds. Inmates at the jail have usually been charged with drug crimes, battery domestic violence, shoplifting or DUI. Beatty Jail is also referred to as Nye County Detention Center-Central Area Sub Station.

Process of Bailing Out Inmates

You may post bail twenty-four hours a day, 7 days a week at the bail window located at Beatty Sheriff’s Substation at 426 “C” Avenue South, Beatty, NV 89003.

Bail payments using MasterCard, Visa, Discover and cash are acceptable. When posting bail with cash, the full and exact amount is needed. Beatty Nevada Jail does not accept payment by American Express. For more information on bail, contact the Beatty Justice Court at their bail hotline, 755-553-2345.

Inmate Release Information

As a precautionary measure, Beatty Jail does not publicly show when inmates will be released, once bail is posted.

How to Phone Inmates

Inmates at the Beatty Holding Facility are not able to receive calls, but they are allowed to place collect calls during certain times of the week.

Jail Visitation Hours

Inmates may receive visits anytime from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

It is recommended to call the jail ahead of time at (775) 553-2345 to make sure the jail is not in lockdown.

The only mail that inmates in the Beatty Jail may receive are postcards. The mailing address is:

Releasing Property of Inmates

As long as both parties fill out the correct paperwork, Beatty Jail inmates may have their property released to an outside person. The individual receiving the belongings should call (775) 553-2345 for more information.

Shopping Privileges

The Beatty Nevada Jail has no commissary. However, inmates may authorize a law enforcement officer to withdraw funds from their accounts and use them to purchase food, toiletries, or stationary from the local drugstore.
